Learning Success at University and College

Learning in the 21st Century….Students have the ability to leverage technology (i.e. social media) to connect with people (peers and experts), learning resources (i.e. Open Education Resources or open courseware) and learning environments (i.e. open courses) to research, reflect, create, collaborate and share knowledge as part of the active learning process.  In order to thrive in these new environments students need to become self-directed learners who advance their learning abilities through metacognition, and evidence based learning strategies.  Self-Directed Learners assess task demands, evaluate own knowledge/skills, plan approach, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed

This web site takes a scholarly approach to learning and provides research based strategies that will inform your learning success!
